New Features on the Library Website!

You can now review your library account online to see what items you have checked out, when they are due, and also renew your items. If you are at the Chester or Kershaw-Heath Springs Centers, you can also request books from the main library to be sent to either center. These features can be found under the “Books” link on the library webpage.

Renew My Materials

Renew your library materials online; You will need two of the three pieces of information to get into your library account:
• User ID: This is your library barcode
• or, Alternate ID: The college ID + your 7 digit student ID [003996xxxxxxx]
• and Password: All passwords are reset each semester to the password used to log-in to electronic resources, which can be found in Campus Cruiser under "Announcements" when logged in.


Check My Library Account

Request an Item

Request materials from Anne Springs Close Library in Rock Hill to be delivered to the Chester or Kershaw sites.
• Search for the item in the catalog. After you have found the item you wish to request, select “Request Item” from the top right of the catalog. This will automatically fill in the Call Number, Copy, and Item ID.
• Enter the date needed by: It may take 3-4 business days to receive the item at your site. The due date will be included with the materials; renewals may be made online.
• Note: Please provide any information necessary to complete this transaction, including your name and site.
• You will need either your User ID (this is your library barcode) or, Alternate ID, which is the college ID + your 7 digit student ID [003996xxxxxxx]

Art Exhibit at the Library

The Library Club of York Technical College, in conjunction with
Dr. Macdonald’s ongoing fine arts program, Arts4U2, is proud to present The Art of Kim Grant, Tuesday, June 3, through Friday, June 27 in Anne Springs Close Library at York Technical College. Mrs. Grant will be speaking on Friday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m. in L113.

Mrs. Grant received her BA in Art Education from Winthrop University in 1995. She teaches Art at Northwestern High School. Painting is her love, but she specializes in pottery as well. Kim Grant is the wife of Martin Grant, Chair of the English Department at York Technical College and the mother of three children.

The library is open Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
