What better time to increase your library IQ than the new year! There are lots of ways to do that, and here's one easy way to get you started:
Many of the electronic resources available through the library website are from Gale, and by visiting the Gale website at http://gale.cengage.com, you can find tutorials and guides for these resources easily accessible via the comfort of your own computer!
On the Gale homepage, go to the "Customer Resource Center" on the left side of the screen and then click on "Technical Resources." Once on that page, go to the right side of the screen and find "Training Corner" and "Navigation Guides."
The Training Corner provides video tours of some of our most popular databases, such as Biography Resource Center, Business & Company Resource Center, Health & Wellness Resource Center, History Resource Center, InfoTrac Onefile, Opposing Viewpoints, PowerSearch, and much more. Navigation Guides offer printable step-by-step instructions as to how to effectively use these products for your research needs.
What are you waiting for? Start 2008 out right by becoming a savvy library learner!
